Product description The single D.A.S. Event M210A is a powered, full-range, three-way stage monitor designed for professional live sound reinforcement applications. The speaker features three built-in Class-D amplifiers, providing 360W of power to the two 10" woofers and the 1" compression driver that combine to offer a frequency response of 70 Hz to 20 kHz and a peak SPL output of 132 dB. The two 10" woofers use a "twin-band" configuration, where each speaker operates in a specific frequency range. Advanced digital signal processing feeds the mid signal to only one of the two low-frequency drivers, while the other is rolled off. This technique eliminates off-axis interference between the drivers, enabling the monitor to maintain optimal polar and frequency response characteristics throughout the low and low-mid operating ranges. The injected aluminum wave-guide provides a coverage of 60º horizontal dispersion.
The rear panel of the speaker offers a line level XLR input and an XLR loop-thru output for connecting additional monitors. There are integrated switches for a 90 Hz high-pass filter and for low-frequency decoupling when using two speakers. Additionally, each monitor features PowerCon inputs and outputs for daisy-chaining up to nine Event M210A monitors. The ISO-flex painted birch plywood enclosure utilizes two bar handles for ease in transport, while the steel grille provides ample protection to the speaker's drivers. The D.A.S. Event M210A ships with a power cord. -
