Product description This set of ENR73 Heavy XL Half Rounds Electric Bass Strings from D'Addario provides a happy medium between the bright, modern tone of roundwounds and the warm, vintage tone of flatwound bass strings. It fits long scale basses with a string scale length up to 36.25". The Half Rounds are wound with a semi-flat pure nickel wire which is then polished to a smooth surface. This process ensures that these strings are soft to the touch while retaining the brightness and sustain of roundwounds. - Semi-flatwound pure nickel wrap wire with polished surface for a smooth feel
