This set fits long scale basses with string scale length up to 36.25". XL strings are manufactured from nickel-plated steel, which produces a bright tone and offers an increased magnetic output. Using the company's proprietary digitally controlled machines ensures that each string will deliver clear fundamentals, accurate intonation, and enhanced tonal consistency. - Light gauging offers more flexibility while maintaining fundamental tone
