Product description This 6-string set of NYXL1150BT Nickel Wound Balanced Tension Electric Guitar Strings from D'Addario features a high-carbon NY steel core wrapped with reformulated nickel-plated steel wire. This advanced construction allows for evenly balanced bending, strumming, fretting, picking, and plucking. In addition, the wound strings have greater magnetic properties, creating a higher output with an enhanced midrange frequency response in the 1 to 3.5 kHz range, resulting in more presence and crunch to cut through the mix. Comprised of gauges .011, .015, .019, .028, .037, and .050, these strings are ideal for all playing styles, and provide great dynamic range and sustain. -
