Product description Boost the switching capacity of your small business or home office with the DGS-1016C 16-Port Unmanaged Gigabit Switch from D-Link. Capable of up to 32 Gb/s of total switching bandwidth, the plug-and-play DGS-1016C supports the Energy Efficient Ethernet standard, which is designed to adjust power consumption depending on Ethernet traffic levels and cable lengths. Quality of service (QoS) helps to smooth the flow of latency-sensitive traffic, such as video streaming and VoIP calls. - Gigabit Networking
- With data transfer speeds of up to 2,000 Mb/s per port at full-duplex, the switch is ideal for quick file transfers, online gaming, and smooth streaming media. Easy-to-access Ethernet ports with LED indicators per port help you to easily distinguish link status. Auto-MDI/MDIX crossover allows for plug-and-play cable connection.
- Conserve Energy
- The DGS-1016C supports IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet, which is designed to save energy and reduce heat without sacrificing performance or functionality. The switch can detect when a connected computer is shut down or when there is no Ethernet traffic and automatically reduce the power used for that port, cutting power usage. In addition, the switch optimizes power usage for each port for the length of cable connected to it, using only as much power as is required. Both features work together to help save power automatically.
