Product description With advanced wireless AC beamforming technology, the DIR-867 AC1750 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router from D-Link provides enhanced coverage and improved throughput. This router supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies with wireless data transfer rates of up to 1750 Mb/s. In addition to enhanced wireless connectivity, you can also connect Ethernet-enabled devices to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for a reliable wired network connection.
Once installed, connected clients benefit from enhanced wireless connectivity with reduced lag, thanks to MU-MIMO technology, which allows for multiple devices to be connected simultaneously. Quality of Service (QoS) functionality prioritizes network traffic to ensure more bandwidth-intensive tasks such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and similar activities have the necessary network resources to operate lag-free. If network security is a concern, this D-Link router supports WPA and WPA2 wireless encryption along with support for a dual active firewall to help keep your network safe and secure. Additionally, this router supports guest network access making it easy to provide guests with limited access to your network and the internet. - Enhanced Data Rates, Range, and Reliability
- The AC1750 Wi-Fi Router uses 3x3 data streams to support faster Wi-Fi speeds. These streams can be combined through beamforming and MU-MIMO to increase reliability and range. This 3x3 AC router features AC technology, delivering independent data streams to devices on the network for speeds of up to 1,750 Mb/s. The AC1750 helps provide the best overall performance to single devices that require high bandwidth such as video streaming or online gaming
- MU-MIMO Technology
- The DIR-867 is designed to support MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology that allows multiple devices to get a high-bandwidth Wi-Fi signal at the same time. You can stream HD media faster and play lag-free gaming. Compared to SU-MIMO (Single-User Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology, MU-MIMO distributes data more efficiently, giving you the fastest Wi-Fi speeds in your home
- Parental Controls
- The DIR-867 allows you to set black or white lists to filter unwanted web content and web sites for your kids
- QoS
- The DIR-867 tracks the type of network traffic (HD media streaming, web surfing, online gaming) and lets you decide which devices deserve higher priority
