Product description The DSS-16+ 16-Port 10/100 Unmanaged Desktop/Rackmount Switch from D-Link provides a simple and space-saving solution for expanding your network. Connect this switch to a router and add up to 15 Ethernet-based devices such as a print server, Network Attached Storage (NAS), or network camera to increase the functionality of your network. It is compact enough to be placed anywhere in your home or office. The switch supports Quality of Service (QoS), reducing jitter and lag with Voice over IP (VoIP) and gaming*. The switch does not require any configuration or software, making installation simple and hassle-free. With the Auto-MDI/MDI-X support, there is no need for crossover cables when you are connecting to another switch or to a computer. Additionally, the DSS-16+ will automatically sense if the connected network devices are running at 10 Mb/s or 100 Mb/s and adjust accordingly. Equipped with a comprehensive LED display, you can monitor the status and activity of every port at a glance. Note: *All attached devices must support 802.1p queuing to allow QoS functionality. - The switch supports ANSY/IEEE NWay Auto-negotiation of speed and duplex modes for each port
