Product description The Phoscyon T-303 Bass Line Emulation Virtual Instrument by D16 Group Audio Software is a plug-in emulation of the classic T-303 Bass Line synthesizer. The software features a unique 18 dB/octave low pass filter with no self oscillation, a constant resonance amplitude throughout the frequency domain, a fully customizable integrated arpeggiator, and a carefully modeled analog distortion effect. For synthesis, the software features two analog modeled oscillators, one saw and one square, with controls over tuning, slide time, cut off frequency, resonance, sweep time, envelope mod, envelope attack, envelope decay, acc. decay, envelope accent, accept volume, and step length all with scaled knob ranges.
The internal sequencer features 96 patterns-each with up to 16 steps per pattern and unique swing and tempo values, a shuffle mode, a chain mode, and the option to import and export patterns via XML files. You can synchronize a pattern to the host software's tempo or to an internal clock between 30 and 300 BPM (± 0.1). A built-in arpeggiator includes 7 predefined chords and 1 user defined chord, 4 patterns (Up, Down, Up-Down, Random,) defined offsets of workable octaves, a repeat feature, and a tempo multiplier of 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, or 6.
The built-in distortion effect is designed to sound like a transistor amplifier with equalization and features signal routing between the distortion and EQ section of the synth. The device's randomizer generates patterns within defined ranges of notes using defined chords such as Major, Minor, 7th, minor 7th, major 7th, minor 7th diminished 5th, and DIM.) It also can generate random values for gate, note, accent, and slide. You can also define the frequency that different attributes are randomly changed.
The plug-in can be fully controlled using MIDI CC and allows you trigger sounds externally using notes from the host application or internally using the step sequencer. Table of Contents
