Product description The rugged & portable High-Security Deployment Shredder with Mobility Case from Dahle is rated at the highest level of shredding security—P7—and meets the National Security Agency's specifications for secure disposal of top-secret documents by military, federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as by department of defense contractors. With a capacity of up to six sheets per pass, this shredder reduces paper into 0.04 x 0.18" cross-cut particles in conformance with security level P-7 standards. The opening is 9.5" wide and accommodates both letter- and legal-size sheets. The shredder engages automatically when paper is inserted into the feed opening and stops once the paper has passed completely through the shredding mechanism. For safety and convenience, the shredder shuts off automatically when the waste drawer is full.
The shredding mechanism is rubber shock-mounted to isolate the wooden cabinet from the mechanism's vibration and ensure quiet operation. Designed to be easily deployable, the wooden cabinet has recessed handles which make this machine easy to lift. The included high-impact plastic case with air- & water-tight seal and internal foam padding allows you to safely ship your shredder to any destination. Rolling casters and a pull strap enable easy handling of the shredder's case. - Approved by the NSA for the destruction of top-secret data under NSA/CSS specification 02-01 standards
