Product description The Small Office CleanTEC Shredder from Dahle quickly and safely destroys confidential paper waste such as bank statements, credit applications, and financial records. With a capacity of nine to eleven sheets per pass, this shredder reduces paper—and credit cards—into 0.08 x 0.56" cross-cut pieces in conformance with security level P-5 standards. The opening is 10.25" wide and accommodates both letter- and legal-size sheets, which can be fed without removing staples and paper clips since the shredder cuts through them as well. This shredder uses the CleanTEC air-filtration system to permanently trap up to 98% of the fine dust particles created around the cutting cylinders while shredding, preventing those particles from reaching your office environment.
This shredder is equipped with the Safe Technology Package which provides verbal and contact shut-down options: in an emergency, the shredder halts immediately if you say "stop" or tap the top cover. A switch at the back of the machine provides an additional emergency shut-down option. The electronic sensing system around the feed opening adds further protection by turning the shredder off when fingers get close. The command dial notifies you when the sheet capacity is exceeded, and also lets you know when it is time to replace the CleanTEC filter or the shred bag. To keep your shredder running at peak performance and increase its lifespan, the integrated Dahle EvenFlow Lubricator provides continuous automatic lubrication to the shredding mechanism. Energy management is optimized by the SmartPower system: Sleep Mode engages after ten idle minutes, and after 30 additional minutes of inactivity the shredder will power down completely. - Precision-milled solid steel cylinders
