Product description The Small Office Shredder from Dahle quickly and safely destroys confidential paper waste such as bank statements, credit applications, and financial records. With a capacity of 9 to 11 sheets per pass, this shredder reduces paper into 0.03 x 0.44" cross-cut pieces in conformance with security level P-6 standards. The opening is 10.25" wide and accommodates both letter- and legal-size sheets. The shredding mechanism is rubber shock-mounted to isolate the cabinet from the mechanism's vibration and ensure quiet operation.
The Small Office Shredder includes a number of electronic capabilities designed to maximize safety and convenience. The shredder engages automatically when paper is inserted into the feed opening and stops once the paper has passed completely through the shredding mechanism. To rule out accidents, the machine shuts off automatically when the cabinet door is opened. The shredder also shuts off when the waste drawer reaches its maximum capacity, notifying you it is time to empty the box or change the bag. Lastly, the cylinders reverse when they are over-fed to prevent jamming. Energy management is optimized by the SmartPower system: Sleep Mode engages after ten idle minutes, and after 20 additional minutes of inactivity the shredder powers down completely. To keep your shredder running at peak performance and increase its lifespan, the integrated Dahle EvenFlow Lubricator provides continuous automatic lubrication to the shredding mechanism. - Precision-milled solid steel cutting cylinders
