Product description The 2MP Starlight PTZ Network In-Ceiling Dome Camera from Dahua Technology is a 1/2.8" 2MP STARVIS sensor dome camera with up to 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps. This dome camera has a 5.3-64mm lens with a 12x optical zoom. It features H.265, H.264, or MJPEG triple-streaming video compression, adjustable white balance, gain control, day and night auto ICR, digital noise reduction (2D, 3D Ultra DNR), a 120 dB wide dynamic range, and backlight compensation. The camera can be powered via PoE, simplifying installation and minimizing cable runs. - Starlight Technology
- Starlight ultra-low light technology can capture color details in low light down to 0.005 lux. The camera uses a set of optical features to balance light throughout the scene which produces clear images in dark environments.
- Intelligent Video System (IVS) Standard Features
- IVS triggers an alarm and takes a defined action when it detects tampering with the camera, an error writing to an onboard microSD card, an error sending or receiving data over the network, and unauthorized access to the cameras.
- IVS Premium Features
- In addition to the standard event triggers mentioned above, the camera offers premium event triggers. IVS triggers an alarm and takes a defined action when an object moves through any part of the scene, when a target crosses a user-defined line, when a target enters or exits a defined perimeter, when a person or object moves or obscures the camera, and when a target leaves an object in a designated area or removes an object from a designated area.
- IVS Advanced Features
- IVS advanced features include facial detection which detects and captures a snapshot of a human face in a defined area within a scene.
- Wide Dynamic Range
- 120 dB True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video.
- High Efficiency Video Coding
- H.265 compression expands pattern comparison and difference-coding by improving motion vector prediction and motion region merging, and incorporating an additional filtering step called sample-adaptive offset filtering.
- Interoperability
- The camera conforms to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) and to the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) specifications, ensuring interoperability between network video products.
- Environmental
- The camera is designed for extreme temperature environments and complies with an IK10 vandal resistance rating, making it capable of withstanding the equivalent of 11 lb of force dropped from a height of 15.75".
- Protection
- This camera is designed to be used for outdoor applications. Its 2kV lightning rating provides protection against the camera and its structure from the effects of lightning.
