Product description Stream and record up to 16 channels of video with the Pro Series ePoE NVR from Dahua Technology at resolutions up to 12MP. Equipped with four SATA III ports, each of which can accommodate an HDD up to 10TB, this NVR supports up to 40TB of internal storage (8TB preinstalled). External storage options include PCs via internet connection, network servers, eSATA, and USB storage devices. Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG compression help optimize network bandwidth use while ensuring high-quality recording and playback.
The NVR enables simultaneous playback of up to 16 channels at up to 3840 x 2160 resolution via its HDMI ports and up to 1920 x 1080 via its VGA ports. Up to 16 channels can be simultaneously recorded at up to 12MP resolution, with a maximum combined transfer speed of 320 Mb/s. There is an RJ45 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet interface as well as RS-232 and RS-485 serial interfaces. This camera supports 16 PoE ports using ePoE technology with EoC protocol for the first eight ports. - Enhanced Power over Ethernet (ePoE) Technology
- ePoE technology is a cost-effective solution for extending transmission distances and for converting existing, coax-based analog systems into IP systems using the Ethernet over Coaxial (EoC) protocol. It encompasses IP systems where a single Cat 5 cable can carry signals up to 2624', and IP/analog hybrid systems where the technology leverages existing analog infrastructure to transmit power and data up to 3281' over an RG59 coaxial cable. Enhanced PoE is compatible with three connection modes operating over the same network simultaneously: traditional IP networks, long-distance ePoE networks, and coaxial networks.
- Dewarping Mode
- The NVR has the ability to correct distortion in a circular panoramic view produced by a fisheye lens. It features various dewarping modes for different installations and configurations.
- Intelligent Video System (IVS) Standard Features
- IVS can trigger an alarm and takes a defined action when it detects tampering with the camera, camera loses or changes focus drastically, an error writing to an onboard microSD card, an error sending or receiving data over the network, and unauthorized access to the cameras.
- IVS Premium Features
- In addition to the standard event triggers mentioned above, the camera offers premium event triggers. IVS triggers an alarm and takes a defined action when an object moves through any part of the scene, when a target crosses a user-defined line, when a target enters or exits a defined perimeter, when a person or object moves or obscures the camera, and when a target leaves an object in a designated area or removes an object from a designated area.
- IVS Advanced Features
- IVS advanced features include facial detection which detects and captures a snapshot of a human face in a defined area within a scene, people counting which measures the number of customers, visitors, or passengers in a surveillance scene, and heat map which generates a visual representation of data.
- Smart H.265+
- Smart H.265+ uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure, and intelligent noise reduction to deliver high-quality video without straining a network.
- Point of Sale (POS)
- The optional POS solution allows the NVR to receive a POS transaction via corresponding video. This feature allows merchants to analyze specific transactions via the Fuzzy Search Algorithm.
- Automatic Network Replenishment Technology (ANR)
- The ANR function automatically stores video data on an IP camera's SD card when the network is disconnected. After recovery of the network, the NVR automatically retrieves video data stored on the camera.
- Smart Fan
- The NVR automatically adjusts fan speed based on the ambient temperature. Smart Fan technology increases the life of the unit, reduces maintenance costs, and reduces noise.
- Automatic License Plate Capture
- The NVR automatically captures vehicle registration plates from incoming IP video channels for effective entrance/exit management, traffic surveillance, and parking lot monitoring.
