Product description The Pro Series 2MP Outdoor Network Wedge Dome Camera from Dahua Technology features a 1/2.8" progressive scan Exmor CMOS sensor and 2.8mm fixed lens for capturing videos at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080. Enclosed in an IP67- and IK10-rated housing, the camera can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications. For applications with both bright and low light conditions that change quickly, true WDR (120 dB) optimizes both the bright and dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable video. The camera comes with Starlight Ultra-low Light technology that offers enhanced light sensitivity to capture color details in low-light conditions down to 0.009 lux. The camera uses a set of optical features to balance light throughout the scene, resulting in clear images in dark environments. The IVS (Intelligent Video System) is a built-in video analytics algorithm that delivers intelligent functions to monitor a scene for tripwire violations, intrusion detection, and abandoned or missing objects. A camera with IVS responds to monitoring events in a specific area. In addition to scene analytics, the camera supports face detection to capture a face and upload the image to a server. The camera also offers tamper detection to generate a warning message that prompts you to inspect the camera. The H.265 video compression standard offers improved compression by expanding pattern comparison and difference-coding, improving motion vector prediction and motion region merging, and incorporating an additional filtering step called sample-adaptive offset filtering. Smart H.265+ is the optimized implementation of the H.265 codec that uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structure, and intelligent noise reduction to deliver high-quality video without straining the network. With a temperature range of -22 to +140°F, the camera is designed for use in harsh environments. With support for ±30% input voltage tolerance, the camera can be used for outdoor applications with voltage fluctuations.
