Product description Advanced BKF Repair from DataNumen is a downloadable Windows software program that lets you recover lost data in a Microsoft Backup file. You can use this software to fix BKFs created by a Windows operating system or VERITAS's Backup Exec. With corrupted BKFs, it restores as much data as possible and delivers your missing files along with the folders and directories. To save time, you can select multiple Microsoft Backup files and fix them in single process. Aside from the files on your storage drive, it can repair BKFs stored on a CD, Zip disk, and other types of media. Moreover, Advanced BKF Repair embeds itself into the Windows Explorer shell for quick access and supports drag-and-drop operations. - Repairs Microsoft Backup (BKF) files created with one of the following software programs:
- Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and Vista
- Windows 2003 Server and 2008 Server backup utilities
- Backup Exec by VERITAS Software under NT, Netware, OS/2, or Macintosh - Recovers dataset, volume, folder structure, and files in a BKF archive
- Supports different media formats such as floppy and Zip disks as well as CDs and others
- Corrects a batch of Microsoft Backup files
- Restores multi-dataset and multi-volume BKF archives
- Supports BFK files as large as 16,777,216TB
- Administrator privileges are not required to restore BKF files
- Seeks out damaged BKF files and repairs them on the local computer
- Integration with Windows Explorer so you can repair a file with the context menu of Windows Explorer easily
- Command-line parameters supported
