Product description 7 All-In-One Portable Speaker Systems for Special Events and Parties Read More The ES 802 Bi-Amped System from dB Technologies is composed of two passive tops and one 12" subwoofer. The sub hosts an 1200W power amp module with auto-range PSU. A powerful DSP manages the functions of the system. The satellite is placed on the subwoofer through the supplied D25mm pole. The Class-D Digipro G3 amplifier provides high power with limited weight and dimension. The digital preamplifier controls the audio crossover of the acoustic components, the frequency response, the limiter, and the phase alignment.
The top is equipped with 8x 3" neodymium drivers. The internal design of the top allows an asymmetrical vertical coverage. A double ringed phase plug widens the horizontal coverage and assures suitable voice intelligibility. The bass-reflex subwoofer houses a 12" woofer and the amplifier module. The enclosure is made of birch plywood coated with a durable scratch-resistant black coat, which makes it road-ready. Two recessed handles (one per side) help easy transport. The metal grid with foam, in addition to protecting the woofer and gives a professional look, it helps the reflex effect. The lower part of the grid, placed right on the reflex ports, has holes with a larger diameter to enhance air flow.
The digital preamplifier with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) controls the audio crossover of the acoustic components, the frequency response, the limiter, and the phase alignment. In addition to the input connectors and controls of the user interface, there are two Speakon outputs and a VDE power connector.
The DSP allows you to choose among 8 different equalizations flat, bass boost, bass reduction, playback, club, vocal, monitor, and anti-feedback. - Extended vertical coverage
