Product description Test a variety of cables with the CT-2 Cable Tester from dbx. The CT-2 can test many common connectors such as speaker twist/Speakon, XLR, phono, BNC, MIDI/5-pin DIN, TS/TRS, DMX, and banana connectors. A six-position rotary selector with individual LEDs lets you test up to five pins in a cable. The rotary also allows you to check the internal battery life.
This cable tester also allows you to test cables with different connectors at each end. For example, you can test a TRS to XLR cable by plugging in each end to its appropriate port. With illuminated LED indicators and a simple rotary dial, you can quickly establish whether a cable is wired and functioning correctly, or if it is dead and needs to be replaced or repaired. A single 9V battery is required for operation (available separately). - Rugged construction for durability
