Product description The dbx PMC16 Personal Monitor Controller allows the user to create a custom mix from 16 channels of audio. It is a digital remote control consisting of a monitor mixer, a reverb effect processor, and a global processing and output section. This creates an audio chain akin to a traditional live sound monitoring system and puts it in the hands of the on-stage musician, allowing each on-stage musician to tailor their own personalized mix and allows the system engineer to focus on the front of house mix. Designed to be used with the dbx TR1616 or any other BLU link compatible device, the PMC16 Controller allows for monitoring with headphones, in-ear monitors, powered monitors, or traditional wedge monitors. The PMC16 Controller has Setup and Live modes of operation. Setup mode refers to the Setup Wizard and menus, which are visible when the Wizard button is pressed. This mode is for the system engineer to initially create the configuration and set global options. Live mode refers to normal operation and consists of all parameters pertaining to the mix. Live mode consists of 4 pages, which include the Meters page, the Levels page, the Pan page, and the Effects page. Using these 4 pages, each musician can create their own mix by adjusting each instrument’s gain, placement in the stereo field, and front to back spatial placement, using reverb. Channel muting and soloing are available to help each musician focus on channels that require attention or channels which should be eliminated from the mix.Multiple PMC16 Controllers can be daisy chained using CAT5e cable, allowing each user to receive 16 channels of high-end digital audio and create their own personalized mix to suit their monitoring needs. The PMC16 Controller comprises a 16-channel mixer section with full control of levels, panning, effect send levels, muting, and soloing. Onboard Lexicon reverb provides the finishing touch. The PMC16 Controller’s output processing section includes stereo width control, wedge monitor compensation EQ, high and low master EQ, master level control, and dbx limiting. With a Setup Wizard for ease of configuration, full 16-channel level metering, channel grouping, 16 preset locations for future recall of configurations and mixes, and an intuitive yet powerful user interface, the PMC16 Controller gives you the power to dial in your mix as you want it, in real time. - 16-channel monitor mixer with level, pan, mute, solo, and reverb send control
