Product description Enjoy balanced stereo sound from this pair of Definitive Technology D7 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers. They feature a 2-way design with a 1" aluminum dome tweeter and a 4.5" polypropylene BDSS/LWR woofer, plus a bass port for enhanced low end response. The speakers accept 20 to 125W from your amplifier and have a 67 Hz to 21 kHz frequency response at -3 dB. The included magnetic grilles are designed to be acoustically inert to avoid coloration of the sound. - Offset Tweeters
- Offsetting the tweeter by 5° is designed to deliver a more precise center stereo image by minimizing undesirable symmetric diffraction off the corners of the front baffle
- 20/20 Wave Alignment Lens
- The 20/20 Wave Alignment Lens helps align and smooth high-frequencies off the tweeter for enhanced dispersion, helping to produce a balanced listening experience throughout your room.
- BDSS Woofer
- The Double Surround midrange/woofer helps provide enhanced excursion and output for augmented midrange detail and bass.
- Linear Response Waveguide
- The Linear Response Waveguide is designed to extend both on- and off-axis frequency response while improving dispersion for a more natural midrange timbre and more precise imaging.
- Acoustically Transparent Magnetic Grille
- The included acoustically transparent magnetic black speaker grilles are designed to provide natural, uncolored sound when placed on the speaker, and to remove easily when you want to see your speakers uncovered.
- Bass Port
- The bass port in each speaker is designed to provide enhanced low-end extension by transitioning air flow from the speaker into your listening area for deep, extended bass impact with reduced turbulence and distortion.
- Wall Mounting Capabilities
- The D7 features a built-in threaded screw insert and keyhole slots for wall mounting and directional firing.
