Product description - Definitive Technology ⿿ The BP9000 Series
Enjoy unobtrusive placement in nearly any setup with the Definitive Technology SR9040 Bipolar Surround Speaker. Its bipolar design makes it convenient for use as a rear- or side-surround speaker and helps create a more immersive soundstage. It handles 20 to 150W of power and is equipped with two 1" aluminum dome tweeters and two 3.5" midrange drivers. Its binding post connection makes it compatible with most home theater amplifiers. - L/R Bipolar Speaker Dispersion Pattern
- The bipolar construction is designed to provide enveloping surround sound, enhanced dynamic range, and high-definition sound quality, for an increased sense of immersion. This design is suitable for unobtrusive placement in nearly any room.
- Aluminum Dome Tweeters
- The tweeters are designed to play higher in frequency than what is heard by the human ear, helping to create an authentic reproduction of sound as the artist intends in the studio or concert hall.
- BDSS – Balanced Double Surround System
- BDSS is designed to increase driver excursion, resulting in a bass output usually associated with a larger driver while retaining the enhanced dispersion and midrange definition of a smaller driver.
