Product description The Demeter FOD-1 Fat Overdrive Pedal combines mid-boost and overdrive circuits to create a distortion box with phenomenal dynamic range. It features both geranium and silicon distortion circuits, for a wide variety of overdriven tones. The Tight/Loose switch lets you choose your diode, and the Gain and Fat knobs let you dial in the exact amount and timbre of overdrive you want, from a mild edge to ultra-fuzzy crunch.
Built using 13-gauge steel and heavy-duty hardware, the Fat Overdrive is a pro's distortion pedal, providing noise-free and musical overdrive while protecting your investment from the rigors of the road. - Mid Boost
- Ranging from flat to 12dB of boost, this is the "fat" part of Fat Overdrive. It gives you punchy country twang or growling distortion, depending on how you tweak the other controls.
- Overdrive Circuit
- Using two kinds of clip generators (geranium and silicon) yields an extremely wide range of available tones.
- Loose or Tight Distortion
- The Loose/Tight switch toggles the pedal between geranium and silicon diodes, letting you choose modern "edgy" distortion or classic fuzz, in amounts you select.
