Product description The HXC-1 from Demeter Amplification is a single channel, tube based opto compressor in a compact and versatile package. Utilizing the H tube pre-amp with a classic photo cell compressor section, the unit has variable attack and release times. The compressor features a side chain circuit for frequency dependent compression but also includes a low frequency compression sensitivity switch for dealing with bass-heavy material. A link input allows for two units to be linked for stereo operation. An overload LED and gain reduction meter help visually check for proper operation.
