Product description The TGA-1-180D Mighty Minnie Pedal Board Guitar Amplifier from Demeter is just 10 x 7 x 4.5" in size, and was originally designed for blues musician Sonny Landreth, who needed an amplifier small enough to fit on a pedal board. The TGA-1 is a hybrid single-channel guitar amp with the all-tube hand-wired clean channel preamp from the TGA-3.
The tube driver stage includes a Jensen audio transformer to control its Class D power amplifier, retaining a real tube sound, but with a much larger range of volume and fidelity than most tube amps. This little amp provides 180 watts into 4 ohms (modern 4x12 cab), 100 watts into 8 ohms (single or 2x12 cab), or 60 watts into 16 ohms (vintage Marshall 4x12).
You get a full complement of controls: Gain, Bass, Midrange, Treble, Master, and a standby footswitch with a status light. Besides having an impressive clean sound, the TGA-1 also delivers a vast range of Edge/OD/Distortion tones when you turn up the gain. In addition, the Master control has a pull pot with a 20 dB pad, so you can turn the Gain up and still have range on the Master.
