Product description The Denon AH-MM400 Reference-Quality Over-Ear Headphones are designed for the serious listener and are part of the company's "Music Maniac" line of headphones. They are professionally tuned for the flattest response over the widest frequency range among the series. The over-ear design provides passive acoustic isolation without the need for active noise cancelation. They feature a contemporary European design that fuses classic styling with a modern touch. The hand-carved American Walnut earcup housings provide a natural tone and elegant looks.
The proprietary 40mm drivers feature the company's "Free Edge" technology along with carbon/paper composite blend diaphragms and neodymium magnets, as well as ceramic-like finished ellipsoid earcups with reinforced glass fiber to curb resonances while reducing weight and retaining rigidity. The earcup housings connect to the adjustable headband via aluminum alloy die-cast hangers with a resonance-free construction and high rigidity for maximum durability. This combination delivers a wide extended frequency response of 10 to 40,000 Hz into a 32 ohm impedance with a sensitivity of 96 dB/mW.
To preserve the fidelity of your signal, the headphones come with two detachable oxygen-free copper cables with gold-plated connectors, one of which includes a remote control for managing media and a microphone for making calls on your mobile device (iOS compatible). They also come with a carrying pouch and a 1/4" (6.3mm) plug adapter. To enhance your listening experience, you can download the Denon Audio Application for iOS or Android.
