Product description Enjoy high-resolution stereo sound with the Denon PMA-800NE Stereo 100W Integrated Amplifier. It outputs up to 50W per channel at 8 Ohms and features an SLDC chassis design to help isolate the internal components to minimize interference. It allows you to input digital audio signals via three optical and one digital coaxial input. Four gold-plated stereo RCA inputs let you connect analog devices, and the MM/MC phono input enables connectivity with a variety of record players. The PMA-800NE includes a remote control as an added convenience. - Advanced High Current (AHC) Single Push-Pull Circuit
- The PMA-800NE features AHC (Ultra High Current) transistors designed to support a higher electrical current supply capacity than conventional audio power transistors.
- Up to 100 kHz Frequency Response
- The amplifier circuit is engineered to secure a frequency response of up to 100 kHz, while the volume circuit suppresses noise in the amplifier for enhanced sonic resolution, enabling the PMA-800NE to handle a variety of high-resolution audio sources with tone control and power throughout.
- Analog Mode
- This mode allows the amplifier to operate as a purely analog amp, disabling the digital inputs while you listen to an analog source. Enable this mode to cut power to the dedicated digital power source, preventing any high-frequency influence on the analog section for enhanced clarity and detail.
- MM/MC Phono Equalizer
- The PMA-800NE includes a phono equalizer that supports input from both MM and MC cartridges. This phono equalizer is designed for high gain, and as loops in the circuit board pattern can cause adverse effects on sound quality, the straightforward design helps mitigate these effects.
- Direct Mechanical Ground Construction
- The vibration-resistant design helps reduce the adverse effects of heavy components within the amplifier. The power transformer, which is the largest vibration source among amplifier components, is outfitted with a 1.6mm thick steel plate, suppressing vibration created by the transformer as well as external vibration toward the transformer. By directly supporting the transformer with this steel plate, the vibration surrounding the chassis is reduced, resulting in enhanced sound clarity.
- Optical and Digital Coaxial Inputs
- The PMA-800NE features three optical inputs and one digital coaxial input, and supports PCM signals up to 192 kHz/24 bit. These digital inputs help to improve the sound quality of your TV audio, Blu-ray discs, media players, and more.
- Main Transformer with Individual Wiring
- To reduce interference and maintain sound quality, the main power transformer of the PMA-800NE has separate coiled wires for the audio and control circuits.
- Micro-Processor Stop Mode
- The micro-processor of the PMA-800NE features a Stop Mode that automatically ceases all operations of the micro-processor when it's not needed for playback. By stopping the oscillation of the micro-processor clock during these listening moments, the audio signal is protected from external noise, enhancing sound quality.
- Signal Level Divided Construction (SLDC)
- The Signal Level Divided Construction (SLDC) chassis is used in the audio circuit to help ensure that delicate musical signals are faithfully amplified and transmitted to the speakers.
- Additional Features
-
- Wide-range amplifier
- Balance, bass, and treble adjustment
- High current dynamic power supply
- Discrete amplification
- Micro-processor auto off
- Solid heat sinks
- Source Direct
- Metal front panel
- Auto power off
