Product description Helping to achieve exacting camera-to-subject distance, the Worm Drive Macro Rail from Desmond is a focusing stage offering fine-tuned control across a 2.2" / 55mm adjustment range. The rail is driven by a knob-controlled worm gear and index scales, in millimeters, are printed on both sides of the rail for consistency. Cameras can be mounted on top of the rail via the integrated 1/4"-20 screw, which uses a 1.8" / 45mm-diameter thumbwheel to secure cameras in place. The base is a 55mm-wide Arca-type dovetail plate, which also incorporates a 1/4"-20 socket, for versatile mounting options.
