Automated formatting and image package creation can be done, with the ability to choose from more than 300 different package types along with the choice of standard output sizes up to 12 x 18". Packages can be comprised of multiples of the same image or different photographs and differently sized images can also be used within the same package for greater efficiency. Guidelines, rulers, and other alignment tools help ensure proper and consistent layouts while other useful tools, such as a Photo Quality Indicator and face size adjustment, ensure a high-quality finished product. Once the layout has been created, images can be saved as a JPG, printed directly from the application, or shared to Facebook.
Further benefitting the editing process, advanced image editing is possible with the use of brightness, color, and contrast adjustments as well as a retouching tool for removing any unwanted imperfections. Text can be added to individual photographs for exam or other identification purposes, and props can also be added for more creative uses. Compose Page - Ruler and Guidelines
- Aiding in positioning images or elements, this tool helps with precise placement according to the width and height of the page. Guidelines are placed over the page, but will not be printed, and the lines can be moved or removed.
- Edit Page and Arrange Objects
- Different elements can be arranged or moved to the front or the back of the design for a more pleasing and seamless appearance.
- Precise Placement with Equal Spacing
- This feature allows you to define the desired amount of space between photos in a grid arrangement, and then apply this spatial constraint to the remainder of images in order to create a balanced, equally-spaced composition.
- Object and Page-Based Alignment
- Photos can be aligned with respect to other photos or elements in the package. Also, an Auto-Align Layers command will automatically line-up layers based on similar content in different layers, such as detected corners or edges. Reference layers can be selected or automatically chosen, and multiple options are available for alignment points on different edges.
- Select One or All, Group and Ungroup
- Helping to save time when working with batches of imagery, multiple photos can be grouped and moved together. Groups of images can also be ungrouped for independent placement of individual photos.
Compose Object - Photo Quality Indicator
- A built-in quality indicator automatically determines whether or not the resolution of the photograph is high enough for the printing size selected. The visual indicator will display once a photos quality has dropped beneath the set quality standards.
- Zoom In and Out Controls
- For viewing multiple photos within a package, zooming controls allow you to focus on an individual element of the composition. Panning controls further allow you to move about the entire package while zoomed in.
- Swap Photos
- This intuitive tool quickly allows you to swap out images due to issues with cropping or orientation (i.e. a horizontal photo has been placed within a vertical template).
- Adjust Facial Sizing
- For ensuring the consistent and proper sizing of faces, the Show/Hide Face Area guide will overlay a percentage value to help determine how much of the frame is taken up by a face. Furthermore, you can seamlessly re-size the image in order to meet the desired guidelines for how large a face should be in an image.
Packages - Ready Packages for All Paper Sizes
- Over 300 ready-to-use packages are available, including a variety of standard sizes, and each is sorted by category for simple navigation. Categories include general, ID, mix, passport, stamp, and visa, and additional packages are available for download via the DgFlick website.
- Multiple Photos in a Single Package
- Different images and differently sized images can be used within the same package in order to minimize overall printing time and paper waste.
- New Era Packages with Text
- Ideally suited for exam purposes, names, dates of birth, and any other required text can easily be added beneath the photograph.
Photo Editing - Retouching Tool
- Helping to remove any unwanted blemishes, wrinkles, spots, marks, or scratches, the dedicated Touch-Up tool allows you to seamlessly eliminate any flaws prior to inserting an image into a package.
- Single Color Background Replacement
- Single color backgrounds can quickly be replaced by simply clicking on it and utilizing a color selector to change only the background, leaving the main subject unaffected.
- RGB Correction
- Photographs' color balance can be intuitively adjusted through the use of RGB color sliders.
- BCG Settings
- Dedicated sliders can be used to adjust photos' brightness, color, and gamma settings to enhance the overall clarity.
- Curves and Levels
- For more advanced control over brightness and contrast, curves and levels tools are available. These tools can be used to adjust the appearance of photos throughout the passport packages.
- Advanced Filters for Windows
- Dedicated to Windows-based operating systems, this feature allows you to utilize third party plug-ins for further refining the look of imagery within the application.
- Add Props
- Different props, such as coats, blazers, shirts, ties, and glasses can be added to imagery and 18 ready-to-use tones of each prop are also available. More props can be imported into the program, too, in the JPG or PNG format.
Output - Export to JPG for Direct Printing
- By exporting your image packages as a JPG file, you can embed select printer profiles for consistent printing with different printer types. Printing is also supported directly from the program itself.
- Share to Facebook
- Images can be directly shared to Facebook from the software without the need to upload through a separate browser.
