Product description Compatible with most HD TriCasters and all metaSETZ tally lights and relay units, the metaSETZ TLC-8S, from Digital Arts, provides 8 assignable tally outputs, Program/Preview/Talent tally, two assignable dry-contact GPI outputs, and intercom/audio pass-through. It also allows you to assign any of the 8 tally outputs to any of the switcher inputs in order to assign a tally to a network input or DDR.
The ability to run both tally and intercom over a single Cat5 cable highly sets the TLC-8S apart from a simple adapter cable. You'll be able to connect your intercom base station into the XLR port on the rear of the TLC-8S and then connect your beltpacks to the multi-purpose port on the tally lights.
Included software (provided on a flash drive) for the TriCaster supports both the red Program and green Preview tally lights, in contrast to the TLC-8D, which is limited to only one. You can also use the software to globally enable or disable the talent tally with no jumpers to change. - Supported TriCasters
