Product description Supporting many common SD and HD, as well as Digital and Analog video standards, the DIGITAL FORECAST Bridge X_MC Multi-Converter can be used to convert almost any source to an acceptable video format compatible with your workflow. Digital I/O include SDI and HDMI for video, and AES/EBU over BNC for audio. Analog I/O is comprised of VGA and composite over BNC for video (uses the same BNC connections for AES/EBU, switchable on the front panel), and 3.5mm stereo for audio. Audio can be embedded from the analog or digital inputs into the video stream or de-embedded from the video signals and output separately from the video stream. Progressive video sources can also be scan-converted for broadcast. All outputs on the converter are active, regardless of input source. This way, multiple video conversions can be made simultaneously, sending the proper signal to almost any kind of display, projector, or recorder. Uses for the Bridge X_MC include broadcast studios as well as A/V installations handling multiple input source types. When installed, the RS-232 connection can be used for software control, permitting remote settings adjustments. OSD menu control is also available.
