Product description The MEGApix DWC-MB721M8TIR 2.1MP 1080p Day/Night Weatherproof IR Network Bullet Camera from Digital Watchdog is a triple codec (H.264, MJPEG, and MPEG4) network camera with 8mm fixed lens that records videos in 1080p resolution at a full frame rate of 30 fps. With features like 3D DNR, WDR, Smart IR, and true day/night function, this camera captures high resolution 1080p images in most environments. The camera has Smart IR LEDs that provide night vision up to 50'. Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature makes installation of this camera easy, as separate power cable installation is not required. For emergency backup during network loss, this ONVIF-compliant camera has a built-in micro SD card slot for local storage up to 32GB (card not included). ONVIF [Open Network Video Interface Forum] Profile S Conformant - Universal protocol that allows IP cameras to communicate with other manufacturers recorders
- Conformant with ONVIF protocol increases flexibility and reduces total cost
Resolution - True HD 1080p (1920 x 1080), 2.1 MP streaming and recording resolution
Power over Ethernet (PoE) - Enables the camera to receive power via the same network cables it uses to transmit data and video
- Simplifies the installation process, requiring only a single cable to power up, configure, and control the camera
Codecs - Triple codec (H.264, MJPEG, MPEG4) with simultaneous dual-stream
Lens 3D Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) - Provides clearer images by using unique algorithms designed to reduce video noise
- Cleans electronic noise signals that reduce the clarity of the image and effect motion detection settings with various recording technology
Day/Night - Provides high-quality black-and-white video images at night with an IR cut filter
- In daylight, the IR cut filter covers the sensor to block out IR light for accurate color rendition
- In night-time conditions, the filter is automatically pulled away to let in all surrounding light - including IR light - to capture more detail; in this mode, the camera captures B&W images.
- Automatically switches to night mode to provide high resolution B&W video images, when light diminishes below a certain level
Programmable Privacy Zones - Privacy masking is used to protect personal privacy by concealing parts of the image from view with a masked area, for example, masking windows of houses
- Up to 16 privacy zones can be programmed
Smart IR - Even distribution of the IR by breaking down of image into 5 zones
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) - Enables to capture clear images in the same frame, even in both extreme bright and dark areas in the same field
Micro SD Card Support for Emergency Backup - Built-in micro SD card slot for emergency backup
- Camera starts recording locally when it detects network loss
- Micro SD/SDHC Class 10 card support up to 32GB
