Product description The Intelix Liberty DigitaLinx Twin Cat5/5e/6 HDMI 1.4 Transmitter is the transmitting end of the DigitaLinx Media Converter HDMI over category cable extension system. This system is applicable in large rooms and similar installations because it allows an HDMI signal to be transmitted over longer distances than traditional HDMI cables allow. This system can also accept and transmit DVI signals when a DVI to HDMI converter is used. As the transmitter, this unit converts an HDMI signal to be transmitted. On the receiver is a DC input for the power supply which powers the transmitter when connected via Ethernet cable. Cat6 cables are recommended for best performance, especially when distances between the transmitter and receiver exceed 100'.
