Product description Designed to prevent hearing damage, the Direct Sound e.a.r.Pods Volume Limiting Headphones for Kids utilize battery-free, passive isolation with proprietary amplitude refinement technology to provide 33.4 dB of passive isolation and a volume limit of 85 dB (as recommended by OSHA).
The headphones feature 40mm moving-coil dynamic drivers to deliver a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz into a 32 ohm load. The right-angle 40" (1.016 m) cord terminates in an 1/8" (3.5 mm) gold-plated plug with an offset to allow the headphones to work with smartphones and other mobile devices within protective cases.
The right earcup is identified with a red marking to make it easier to differentiate the right from the left. For comfort they feature a padded fully adjustable headband. They are user-friendly in terms of repairs as well as foldable for easy transport. The headphones are manufactured in the USA.
