User manual for the DJI Focus contain basic instructions

Product description Pull focus from up to 300' away with the DJI Focus wireless lens control system. This system is composed of a remote controller hand unit, a single motor, connection cables, as well as other extras, and fits inside an included hard case. While the Focus can function as a standard remote follow focus, it has a few tricks up its sleeve; using a separate cable, you can control the focus or iris of the lens mounted to your Inspire drone's Zenmuse X5 or X5R gimbal. - Low Latency
- On the ground, the remote control transmits at distances of up to 100m with just 14 ms of lag in open space.
- Zenmuse X5/X5R Control
- With a separately available cable, the DJI Focus hand unit can connect to an Inspire transmitter. With this connection, lens focus and iris can be directly controlled in real-time with the Focus.
- Adjustable End-Points
- While cinema lenses feature built-in hard stops, photography lenses do not. On the Focus, you can tune the lens to match the end-points of any lens you want to use. Because the motor uses an encoder, the onboard processor knows exactly which position the motor is in, letting you set up in seconds simply by turning the lens itself to infinity and marking it, then repeating at the other end.
- Adjustable Wheel Tension
- The already tactile focus wheel is customizable so that it responds to your liking. Simply turn the control knob until it reaches a stiffness or looseness that feels right to your hand.
- Replaceable Marking Ring
- A white marking ring around the focus dial can be swapped out and inscribed demarcated using everything from masking tape to wax pencil for different lenses or projects. A light behind the ring illuminates it from behind ensuring markings are visible even on a dark set.
- Customizable
- An OLED display menu on the remote lets you fine-tune how the Focus works for you. You can even set multiple focus points, and the speed the camera racks between them making complex moves simple and repeatable.
- Rosette Mount
- Connect other accessories to the Focus remote controller or even connect it to other pieces of your equipment. Having a built-in rosette mount means it can be fitted wherever you need it securely.
- Rechargeable Battery
- The included lithium-ion battery can power the Focus throughout a shoot, and can be swapped in seconds if it runs out. You can charge it in the studio or even on the move from a power pack through its USB recharging port.
