Product description This Kit packages the Dolgin Engineering TC40-SON Four-Position Charger with four Watson NP-F975 L-Series batteries. This combo provides a quick-charging solution for powering any NP-F975–compatible camera. The TC40-SON charger features simultaneous charging for up to four batteries with an approximate 4.5-hour charging time. The TC40-SON charger is also compatible with NP-F970, NP-F770, and third-party models. It has front-panel LED status lights, and it accepts 100-240 VAC power as well as 12 VDC power (via an optional adapter). The TC40-SON from Dolgin Engineering features integrated battery plates that support Sony and third-party NP-F970, NP-F770, NP-F975 batteries. These batteries are used with Sony's HD1000U, Z5U, Z7U, MC2000U, NX5U, HDRFX7, and FS700R cameras.
The TC40 has semi-independent channels and provides Dynamic Power Management (DPM) when charging four batteries. This means that it allocates more power to the battery that needs it the most first. Once battery levels are equal it charges all batteries simultaneously with equal power distribution. The result is that all batteries will be ready at the same time. Based on a capacity of 5600mAh, the TC40 delivers a complete charge in approximately 4.5 hours for four batteries or when you charge a single battery. With the battery plates built in, the battery contacts are ensured to remain more intact.
Charge status is displayed per battery by indicator lights on the front panel. The Watson NP-F975 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack works with the same cameras as the Sony NP-F970 series batteries. This replacement battery pack features a capacity of 7800mAh, 7.4V of output power, and 57.72 watt hours.
