Product description The D2-CD-T 12V COOLDOME Enclosure with Active Cooling and Vandal Tough Tinted Lens from Dotworkz is designed with active on-board and thermostatically controlled air conditioning, to protect both cameras and other system related hardware in one easy to install engineered form factor. It is designed as complete outdoor solution housing for advanced camera system deployments in hot environment where temperatures exceed 105°F (41°C) but reaches as high as 155°F (68°C). The COOLDOME will protect the camera inside the enclosure up to 158°F (70°C) ambient temperature. The differential between the ambient temperature and the temperature inside the COOLDOME Enclosure can be as much as 45°F (25°C).
The COOLDOME Active Cooling technology offers outdoor camera protection system designed to protect the camera from extreme heat and direct sunlight. The COOLDOME is engineered for climates where heat damage can occur. It is IP66 rated, integrated IP68 waterproof cable ports, airtight, and sealed against outside air, dust, and salt water. Internal mounting space designed for routers, cell networks, hard drives, UPS, WiMax, and mesh hardware. - COOLDOME thermostatically-controlled active cooling technology
- Provides protection up to 158°F (70°C) with a difference of up to 45°F (25°C) with the ambient temperature
- Virtually indestructible Polycarbonate Thermal Plastic alloy material
- Integrated Dual Layer (Foil/Foam) Internal thermo-blanket protects electronics from solar-heat and UV Rays to reduce solar-loading and protects from cold weather conditions, creating a stable internal camera environment
- Internal bracket included for PTZ, megapixel, or mini dome cameras
- Switchable upper and lower camera mounting locations for maximum versatility and internal storage space utilization
- IP66 rated, airtight, and sealed against outside air, dust, water, and salt water
- Includes IP68 waterproof connection ports
