Product description The Doxie Flip Mobile Flatbed Scanner is a battery-powered scanner with a transparent scanning area of 4 x 6". It is designed to be portable and can flip over in order to capture 600 dpi scans directly on top of documents, items, and sketches. These are then saved to an SD card, for complete standalone operation.
The Flip operates on 4 AA batteries for wireless operation and has a detachable lid for versatile scanning options. This is done by looking through a plastic window on the back of the scanner. Additionally, it can complete each 300 dpi scan in 7 seconds and can run 200 scans before you have to replace the batteries.
Via a software update, can automatically stitch together larger documents. The Flip comes with companion software, 4 pre-installed AA batteries, a 4GB SD card, and a USB SD card reader. - Doxie Software
