Product description Make your world paperless with the convenience and quality of the Doxie Q Scanner. Able to work as a standalone unit or connected to a computer or iOS device via USB or Wi-Fi, this rechargeable scanner makes it easy to digitize your files, receipts, and photos. Images created by the scanner are sharp and detailed thanks to scanning resolutions of 600 and 300 dpi, and thanks to built-in ABBYY OCR technology users can instantly create searchable PDFs. The highlight feature of this portable unit is the inclusion of a collapsible 8-sheet automatic document feeder, which permits 8 ppm batch scanning of documents from 3.5 x 3.5" up to 8.5 x 30" in size. Alongside this ADF is a direct feed slot, which will handle delicate or thicker items that are as small as 2 x 2".
Power is provided by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is rated to produce about 1,000 scans on a single charge. Also, thanks to built-in Wi-Fi connectivity users can use a Doxie App for Windows, Mac, or iOS to access advanced features, such as automatic image corrections, multi-page document creation, and manual double-sided scanning. Additionally, the files can be saved directly to an included 8GB SD card via a slot on the unit and synced later to a computer or mobile device. - Doxie Apps
- Available for Windows, Mac, and iOS devices, the Doxie apps enable a variety of different features, including syncing and automatically importing scans over USB or Wi-Fi. The app can also be used to set up a workflow with existing apps or cloud services, including Evernote, OneNote, Dropbox, Photoshop, and more. The app offers an automatic image recognition system as well, ensuring maximum quality with automatic cropping, rotation, and contrast. Finally, using ABBYY OCR technology, the scanned documents can be transformed into searchable PDFs to make finding text easy. The iOS app has a couple other features to help you work when on the go, such as sending to apps and a smart stapler tool for stacking multi-page documents together.
