Product description The 4003 Omnidirectional Microphone from DPA features a signal and frequency response suitable for studio and mobile applications. It offers a 10 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, allowing the microphone to be used for voice capturing, ambient and environmental capturing, and instrument capturing. The microphone's omnidirectional polar pattern provides a generous pick up at the off axis sections of the microphone for a smooth, even signal and frequency response at direct and indirect sections of the capsule. The output section features a low-noise preamplifier, driven at unity gain, and the cartridge features a diaphragm measuring 16mm in diameter and coated with a thin polymer layer for protection against corrosion. The 4003 uses 130V of phantom power. - 130V phantom power operation results in a sensitive capsule for maximum results at close or far proximity
- SPL rating of 154 dB, allowing the microphone to capture high transients without peak distortion
- Linear frequency response of 10 Hz to 20 kHz allows for use in a wide variety of applications
- The omnidirectional pattern provides a generous, even signal response at direct and off-axis sections of the microphone
