Product description The 12mm d:dicate 4007C Compact Omnidirectional Microphone by DPA features a high-performance condenser design for capturing audio. It produces natural and non-distorted audio capture in various scenarios, including recording studios, live sound situations, theater orchestras, and similar applications. The microphone offers an omnidirectional polar pattern and a frequency range of 10 Hz to 40 kHz. It is capable of handling up to 153 dB SPL peak before clipping occurs and is suitable for recording drums, percussion, and brass instruments. The 4007C is powered by 48V of phantom power and provides a dynamic range of 124 dB from the noise floor. A microphone clip and foam windscreen are included. - Compact Pre-Amplifier
- The compact "C" pre-amplifier measures 41mm in length and provides clean transparent sound.
- Extreme Peak Handling Capability
- The 4007C is designed for accurate, transparent reproduction of signals that exhibit high peak response at close range. It can be used for close capturing of drums, percussion, brass, guitar cabinets, and similar applications.
- Linear Frequency Response
- A wide, linear frequency response results in accurate, transparent signal reproduction at close or far proximity.
- Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
- The omnidirectional polar pattern provides a generous pick-up area at the direct-axis of the capsule for even frequency reproduction at the off-axis and direct sections of the microphone.
