Product description The loud SPL, black d:screet Core 4061 Instrument Microphone Kit from DPA includes a 4061 omnidirectional lavalier microphone hardwired to a MicroDot connector, an XLR adapter and belt clip, a double holder, a surface mount, a magnet mount, five foam windscreens, two holders for strings, and a travel case and pouch. The Core 4061 miniature microphone amplifier delivers a 4 dB increase in dynamic range and a 14 dB reduction in THD (total harmonic distortion) over the 4061 Legacy model. This kit can be used to capture audio for a wide variety of musical instruments in close-miking situations such as snare drums, guitar/bass speaker cabinets, violins, pianos, or other high-SPL sound sources. - d:screet Core 4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone with MicroDot Connector (Lo-Sens, Black) The lo-sens, loud SPL, black d:screet Core 4061 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone with Hardwired MicroDot Connector from DPA is designed for use with wireless systems in performance and theatrical presentations. The Core 4061 miniature microphone amplifier delivers a 4 dB increase in dynamic range and a 14 dB decrease in THD (total harmonic distortion) over the 4061 Legacy model. Because of its small size, the microphone is highly unobtrusive and is suitable for broadcast, live stage, and instrument applications as well.The d:screet Core 4061 includes interchangeable capsule protection grids that alter the sonic character of the microphone. A high-boost grid creates a peak at 12 kHz, bringing an airy texture to audio signals. The soft-boost grid creates a subtle boost between 8 to 20 kHz, enhancing signal presence.With an SPL rating of 144 dB, the microphone is more than capable of reproducing transient (peaking) audio before clipping. The Core 4061 is powered via +48V phantom power and features a MicroDot output connector, compatible with various wireless microphone transmitters, or power supplies with standard XLR outputs.

The SCM0018 is used with omnidirectional microphones that pick up sound no matter which direction the microphone is placed in.
