Product description The 21 HP Dreadbox Drips V2.0 is a complete analog drum synthesizer in a Eurorack module format and contains everything you need to create custom analog drum sounds for your Eurorack modular setup. The module is well suited for creating dynamic drum sounds including kicks, snares, hi-hats, claps, clicks, and toms, as well as other percussive instrument sounds and SFX, such as bells, whooshes, whomps, thwacks, and space. Drips offers two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO) and a noise source that can be tuned and mixed together. Additionally, the VCO section provides frequency modulation of oscillator 1 by oscillator 2 for bell-like tones and special effects. The voltage-controlled filter (VCF) offers three selections (LP, BP, and HP) with controls for filter cutoff and resonance. The envelope section offers decay and amount controls, as well as a destination switch for routing the envelope control signal to the VCOs or VCF. The voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) acts as the main output and includes a decay control to set the decay rate. The clock section features a tempo knob, allowing you to set a rhythmic pulse (4 seconds minimum to audio rate maximum) to trigger the envelopes. Additionally, there is a 3.5mm input, which allows the unit to sync to an external clock, while the 3.5mm output will generate a clock signal from the internal or external clock source. Drips offers 3.5mm inputs for VCO1, VCO2, and the VCF, which allow the frequency of each circuit to be controlled by an external source. Additionally, the 3.5mm VCA input allows for an external signal to control the VCA gain, while the 3.5mm Env out sends a copy of the envelope generator to control other devices. The Dreadbox Drips includes a ribbon power cable. -
