Product description The popular Ghost series continues in a 4K version with the Drift Ghost 4K Action Camera. The Ghost 4K is a bullet-style action cam that records up to DCI 4K resolution at 25 fps and Ultra HD 4K at 30 fps. Full HD 1080p resolution can be captured at up to 120 fps for slow motion, and 720p at the much higher frame rate of 240 fps for even slower-motion playback. Photos can be shot at up to 12MP individually or in bursts of multiple images, and time-lapse recording is also supported.
The Ghost 4K features dual built-in microphones, one on the front and one on the rear, to capture dynamic sound while reducing wind noise, and also supports an optional external microphone that can be connected into a USB port using an included USB-to-mic adapter cable. The camera also offers internal digital video stabilization in 1080p mode to compensate for camera shake and minimize blur. Another very useful function is the ability to switch from sleep to record in an instant with just a single press of a button.
The Ghost 4K has a modular design with a side dock that supports an optional Drift LCD module or included/optional battery modules. A 1500mAh battery is built in and a 500mAh external battery module is additionally included, while larger capacity battery modules are also available sold separately. The optional LCD module allows you to set up and review your shots and access settings, but the Ghost 4K also has a small screen on the rear that displays basic settings, such as the selected resolution and frame rate. For storage, the Ghost 4K has 4GB of built-in NAND flash memory and additionally supports up to 128GB microSD cards.
The Drift Life mobile app for iOS/Android is provided as a free download with the camera and allows you to remotely control start/stop recording, capture photos, and access your recordings from up to 33 ft away. The app also lets you live stream your recordings to platforms such as Facebook Live. The Ghost 4K connects to the app via built-in Wi-Fi.
Supplied accessories include curved and flat adhesive mounts for attaching the camera to pretty much any object (such as a helmet), and a mounting clip for securing the camera into these mounts by quick-release functionality. A wrist-wearable Bluetooth remote control is also included that allows you to control main functions from a distance. - Key Features
