Product description Ultra-Lam Wide Format Thermal Laminating Film (38" x 500') from Dry Lam is designed to activate at a lower temperature (185 °F) than other lamination films in order to provide compatibility with newer ink formulas. In addition to inkjet printers, the film can be used with electrostatic, laser, and thermal transfer technologies. The film incorporates UV technology to protect images from UV rays that typically cause fading. Protecting with Ultra-Lam ensures your prints retain their bold colors up to 5 times longer than uncoated images. - Specifically manufactured to activate at 185 °F with copolymer adhesives so it adheres to all types of inkjet papers, including photo based substrates. The 185 °F laminating temperature accommodates new ink types used in wide format imaging
- Ultra-Lam laminating film features advanced UV technology, protecting printed images from harmful UV rays. Advanced UV technology uses specially formulated UV inhibitors to absorb the damaging light wavelengths that cause fading and protects the vibrant color produced by today's high-tech printers
- With the use of Ultra-Lam, printed images will remain bold and colorful up to five times long than an uncoated image. Ultra-Lam film can be used with ink jet, electrostatic, laser or thermal transfer technologies
