Product description The 51" x 150' roll of OptiTac Clear Removable Acrylic Mounting Adhesive from Drytac is a 1.5 mil optically clear PET film that is coated on each side with a solvent acrylic adhesive. Peeling back the clear PET release liner, it reveals a permanent adhesive, which is the side that your image or graphic would adhere to. The other side of the film has a non-permanent, removable adhesive that would mount to different clear substrates, such as acrylic, glass, or Plexiglass; this is called second surface mounting. This type of mounting allows you to display images through a clear substrate and have it backlit like a lightbox. Because the adhesive is temporary, this allows your different substrates to be used over again. OptiTac mounting adhesive is pressure sensitive, and Drytac recommends using a roller laminator and not a mounting press. The PET film also offers UV protection for your graphics or images, and once the box is opened, the shelf life of the material is good for up to 1 year. Table of Contents
