Product description The 3900 Double Tom Stand a part of the 3000 Series from DW Drums is the lightest DW tom stand, but features the same dual tom ball-and-socket / auxiliary clamp top as the 9900, but lighter gauge tubing makes it substantially more portable than its heavy-duty cousin. A double-braced tripod base still supports heavy rack toms, multiple cymbals and accessories. - Using Auxiliary Clamp allows for custom set-up by adding optional SM934 or SM799
- Full-size 1 1/8" (2.9 cm) Double Braced Tripod Base
- Plastic Tube Insulators inside the tubing are a necessity in recording situations to avoid rattling when drum mics are placed close to stands
- Hinged Memory Locks are included at tube joints to help assure repeatable, more exacting, repeatable height settings
