Product description The Delta III Turbo DWCP5002TD4 from DW Drums is a double pedal for kick drum. It seeks to upgrade earlier iterations of the 5000-series pedals by enhancing its gripping strength, notably by developing a new toe clamp for the pedal. Called the Tri-Pivot, this toe clamp utilizes three discrete rubber pads, which can rotate 360°; as such, this toe clamp can attach to bass-drum counter hoops of almost any diameter and thickness, eliminating slippage while doing so. A textured-rubber grip pad has also been added to the grip plate. The overall feel of the pedal has also been modified from earlier versions with the addition of the Dual-Bearing Spring Rocker mechanism, which enhances the quickness and responsivity of the pedal. - DW's patented Delta Ball-Bearing Hinge utilizes an aluminum design that incorporates ball bearings at both sides.
- Tri-Pod Toe Clamp
- This patented clamp ensures the pedal and drum stay connected, regardless of hoop size or angle. A clip with a drum key is also provided.
- Single-Post Casting
- This construction facilitates ease of movement between the secondary kick-drum pedal and the hi-hat, and thus, allows you to switch between the two with ease—or play both simultaneously.
- Universal Assembly with Memory Lock
- Made of aircraft-grade aluminum, this heat-treated element adds further stability to the dual-pedal system.
- Turbo Drive System
- This drive system helps foster even, tonally similar hits; it differs from the Accelerator system, which facilitates quickness and sensitivity.
- Non-Skid Rubber Grip
- Easily adjustable, this grip minimizes floor slippage.
- Included Case
- This pedal comes with a nylon carry case.
