Product description The tobacco burst finish Design Series Frequent Flyer Drum Kit from DW Drums is a portable drum set...that doesn't sound like one. When professional drummer Peter Erskine approached the DW design team and asked them for a kit that was made to travel but had a full sound like those used in studios and permanent music venues, the team began to tackle the question and after some years of R&D, they created the Frequent Flyer series of drums.
The 4-piece set consists of a 12 x 20" bass drum with low-mass spurs and lightweight ratchet bass drum mount, an 11 x 14" floor tom, a traditional 8 x 12" rack tom with STM, and a matching 5 x 14" snare drum. The kit also comes standard with chrome hardware appointments, True-Pitch tension rods, MAG throw-off, True-Tone snare wires, and DW heads by Remo.
The kit is offered in Tobacco Burst, and the shells consist of solely North American maple with no reinforcement hoops. Lightweight 6000 Series hardware, including the new Ultralight cymbal stand, perfectly complements the set and it is an option that is sold separately. - 4-Piece travel ready full sound drum set
