Indeed, the inside of the throne itself can store a lightweight hardware setup (say, DW Drums' 6000UL-series of hardware), a stick bag, pedal, cowbell, and other accessories. The seat, in addition to offering a vintage look, is height adjustable from 22 to 28" off the floor, in increments of 1". This model comes in a white marine FinishPly finish.
