Product description The Dynalite MH2015 Road Flash Head is a featherweight (1.93 lb) but rugged alternative to the MH2050 head. Rated at 2000W/s, it's perfect mate to RoadMax, Road, Studio or Arena power packs Fan cooling not only protects the head's electronics but adds life to the bright 250W modeling lamp and flashtube. And speaking of the flash tube, UV coating allows an ideal color temperature rating of 5400K. The built-in recessed reflector with 140° coverage is very umbrella-friendly but if you'd prefer a narrower beam, reflectors such as the RR-50 or RR-80 provide 50° and 80° coverage respectively. You can even add grids, barndoors and a snoot with the addition of optional adapters. Convenience features include an integral handle, which is ideal for tilting the head when mounted to accessories like softboxes. A 16' power cable gives you a long reach when mounting the light on large sets, while the ratcheted friction-controlled mount handle can be reversed to accommodate left-handed users. - Compact Design
- At 5.5 x 5 x 7.5" and only 1.93 lb, the MH2015 is one of the most portable flash heads on the planet.
- Reflector Options
- A 140° reflector is built-in. The head is compatible with optional dedicated parabolic reflectors, barndoors and grid spots for greater light control.
- Backward Compatible
- Good news for those with older 1015 and 2040 heads - the MH2015 is compatible with any accessories you may already own for those heads.
- UV Color Corrected Flash Tube
- 5400˚K is perfect for critical color work. Plus, there is virtually no color shift with different power settings. Rated to 2000W/s for extra long life.
- Quartz Modeling Light
- 3200K color temperature and 2000 hour rated.
- Modeling Switch
- The head gives you the option of shooting with the modeling light off.
- Angle Adjustment Handle
- Large enough to grip. On the back of the head for one-handed adjustment convenience.
- Friction Control Handle
- Easily set in tight spaces with ratchet handle. Reversible for left-handed and right handed use. Adjusting head does not alter friction setting.
- Universal Stand Mount
- 1/2" (12.7 mm) and 5/8" (15.87 mm) holes provide maximum versatility to fit all light stands.
- Accessory Mounting Ring
- Integral, molded mounting ring permits quick and secure installation. Enables 360-degree rotation of most accessories and soft boxes.
- Umbrella Mount
- 1/2" (12.7 mm) hole accommodates all umbrellas. Reversible thumbscrew for left-handed or right-handed convenience.
- Lowel Flexi Clips
- Two are built-in to accept Lowel Flexi shafts, Total flags, and Total flectors for ultimate light control situations.
- Cooling Fan, Arc Proof Design
- Cooling Fan: Blows air out of the front of the flash head for superior cooling and fills out the fabric in softboxes for better light dispersion. Arc proof design allows easy swapping of heads without hazard.
- Abuse Resistant Design
- Powder epoxy coating on the flash head takes abuse and is easy to clean.
