Product description The CMK1 CloseMic Kit from Earthworks is designed for close miking tom and snare. It is housed in a high impact case that will withstand the rigors of the road. The high impact cases allow you to store the Drum Periscope microphone with the RM1 attached, thus saving time in setup and teardown. This kit consists of the DP30/C Tom & Snare Drum Periscope Microphone, LevelPad, PW1 Foam Teardrop Windscreen, and RM1 RimMount.
The DP30/C Tom & Snare Drum Periscope Microphone is designed for close miking toms and snare drums, and will take a direct hit from a drumstick. A right angle mic head is mounted to the gooseneck for easy positioning. The Drum Periscope is mounted parallel to the drum shell with the RM1 RimMount. - Improved impulse response for fast and more accurate transients
- Shorter diaphragm settling time to prevent quieter attacks from being blurred by earlier loud attacks

- Electronics are housed in a cylindrical tube attached to the other end of the mini-gooseneck and provide a high level, low impedance output that will prevent RFI
- 145 dB SPL capability ensures the microphone will not overload from the loudest of drum attacks
